Top drivers, the world’s leading supercar manufacturers and a unique format at one of the world’s most glamorous circuits make the 2024 Lenovo Gulf 12 Hours a must-see event when it takes place in Abu Dhabi on 15 December.

Yas Marina Circuit once again hosts the Gulf 12 Hours, which this year features a stellar entry list of 25 cars from 19 teams representing Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, including three former winners.

The 2024 edition sees a return to the unique two-part race format, with an opening eight-hour section followed, after a two-hour break, by a four-hour sprint to the chequered flag, creating a second starting ceremony in a magical night atmosphere.

Yas Marina Circuit, the home of Formula 1’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, has hosted 12 editions of the 13 Gulf 12 Hours editions so far, delivering with unparalleled facilities, excellent winter weather and the famous Arabian hospitality.

For the first time, ticket holders for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix can automatically enjoy the spectacle of GT cars racing into the night, with free entry to the Gulf 12 Hours. Fans unable to visit Yas Marina Circuit can follow the action via a live stream at www.youtube.com/gulfmotorsport.

Yas Marina Circuit will witness a spectacular contest featuring former winners Kessel Racing, AF Corse and 2 Seas Motorsport, who between them have won nine of the 12 editions. Drivers from 22 nationalities are on the official entry list in four different classes, structured to maintain a strong focus on gentleman drivers in line with the Gulf 12 Hours’ long-term philosophy.

Two-time GT World Challenge Europe champion Jules Gounon will lead the Pro class challenge for 2 Seas Motorsport, in a Mercedes AMG GT3 alongside Australian duo Stephen and Brenton Grove. They face competition from a strong field, including Optimum Motorsport’s McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, Saintéloc Racing’s Audi R8 GT3 LMS EVO II, newcomer Proton Huber Competition’s #16 Porsche 992 GT3R and a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s, entered by Kessel Racing and Dragon Racing.

A fiercely competitive Pro-Am grid sees nine cars from four different manufacturers face off for honours. Ferrari 296 GT3 make up the majority of competitors, with entries from AF Corse, Dragon Racing, Kessel Racing, Racing One and Rinaldi Racing, while Garage 59 competes with a pair of McLaren 720S GT3 EVO cars. An Audi R8 GT3 LMS EVO II is entered by Saintéloc Racing and Lionspeed GP races with a Porsche 992 GT3R.

In the Am class, an all-family crew of Thomas, Manuela, Corinna and David Gostner will challenge for the podium in their MP Racing-run Mercedes AMG GT3 against Audi R8 GT3 LMS EVO II cars from Haas RT and Simpson Motorsport, as well as Herberth Motorsport’s Porsche 992 GT3R and a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO from ARC Bratislava.

For the first time, a dedicated Porsche Cup class adds another level of competition. High-performance 992 Cup race cars from the legendary German manufacturer will compete against each other, within the overall Lenovo Gulf 12 Hours field, for Porsche Cup honours. Two cars from HRT Performance will do battle with Toro Verde GT and Enrico Fulgenzni’s entry for class victory.
