Local crew gears up for Gulf 12 Hours

Four United Arab Emirate-based drivers will take on the challenge of the Gulf 12 Hours on 10 December behind the wheel of the OJ Lifestyle Racing by Racing One entry.

The #26 Ferrari 296 GT3, in its eye-catching blue and red livery, will be shared by four drivers who have lived in the UAE for more than a decade, making it something of a local favourite at Yas Marina Circuit.

Omar Jackson, a Dubai resident whose love of horsepower extends to owning four race horses, will make his debut in the prestigious Gulf 12 Hours alongside the experienced Axcil Jefferies, who knows Yas Marina Circuit well through his role as a senior race instructor at the circuit.

Ramez Azzam and Zaamin Jaffer are both thoroughbred locals, born in the UAE, and they complete a four-driver OJ Lifestyle Racing by Racing One line-up which will take on 12 rivals in a highly competitive Pro-Am field on 10 December.

Fans can follow the progress of OJ Lifestyle Racing by Racing One throughout the weekend, starting with four qualifying sessions on Saturday 9 December, starting at 8pm Abu Dhabi time (3pm in Europe, 2pm in the UK), via the event’s official YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@gulfmotorsport.

The Gulf 12 Hours, which runs for 12 continuous hours for only the second time in its history, begins on Sunday 10 December at 10.45am Abu Dhabi time (7.45am In Europe, 6.45am in the UK) and will be streamed in full.
