·       22 top teams granted invitations during initial phase of entry process

·       Iconic end-of-season event takes place on 15 December at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi

·       New driver line-up rules ensure victory for a Bronze driver

Invitations have been confirmed to 22 leading GT3 teams, representing the world’s top sportscar brands, for the 2024 Gulf 12 Hours, which takes place at the spectacular Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on 15 December.

With an ongoing high demand for entries, race organisers are in the process of allocating grid spots and confirming a provisional entry list for a race which is expected to feature a full grid of GT cars.

Formula 1’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix venue will host the prestigious Gulf 12 Hours for the 13th time in 2024. The event reverts to its successful split format and will consist of an opening eight-hour endurance contest followed, after a two-hour break, by a four-hour sprint to the chequered flag.

From this edition, a gentleman is certain to celebrate overall victory after a change in driver line-up regulations. The Pro category can be contested by crews featuring either one Bronze alongside any combination of Platinum, Gold or Silver drivers, or three Silver drivers. At least two Bronze-ranked drivers must be part of every Pro-Am category line-up while no Gold or Platinum drivers are permitted in the Am class.
